Fire Sprinkler Tools, also shown as FST, is a professional Android calculator and reporting utility for fire sprinkler field and design work by QR3design Inc.
Summary
FST is local-first. The app does not require an account, does not show ads, does not include analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not upload saved reports to a QR3design Inc. cloud service.
Most information entered into the app stays on the user's device unless the user chooses to export, back up, or share it.
Data entered by users
Users may enter calculator values, pipe data selections, flow test information, company report settings, project/client/site details, notes, pressure readings, flow readings, and related report content.
This information is used to calculate results, save local records, and generate user-requested reports.
Local storage
The app may store data locally on the device, including:
- Calculator preferences and display settings.
- Company report settings entered by the user.
- Saved flow test records.
- Generated PDF, CSV, and JSON exports.
- Local JSON backup files created by the user.
Users can delete saved records inside the app where deletion controls are provided. Exported files and backups are controlled by the user in the destination app or file location where they were saved or shared.
Location and elevation features
The app can optionally use device location when the user taps a GPS button to fill in flow-test coordinates. Location is not requested in the background.
The app can optionally send entered latitude and longitude to an online elevation lookup service over HTTPS when the user taps the elevation lookup button. This is used only to retrieve elevation for the report workflow.
Sharing and exports
FST does not automatically share user data.
Users can choose to generate, export, back up, or share PDF, CSV, and JSON files through Android share tools or document/file workflows. Once a user shares or saves an exported file outside the app, that destination app or storage location controls the file.
Accounts
FST does not require user accounts, login credentials, or subscriptions inside the app.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
FST does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, social SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
Network access
Network access is used only for user-triggered app functionality, such as the optional elevation lookup. The app does not perform background cloud sync.
Children
FST is intended for professional fire sprinkler field and design users. It is not designed for children.
Changes
If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, analytics, ads, additional network features, or other data-related behavior, this privacy policy should be updated before release.
